Following the pandemic, there is now an unprecedented number of youth who are experiencing extreme anxiety, grief, and stress. Youth referrals and the needs of students are higher than we have ever experienced in our Communities-in-Schools Partnership programs and we have a waiting list for services that never existed before. Given this high demand for our services, we need greater program capacity to meet the social-emotional needs of local youth!
This is why we are making a heartfelt plea to the La Plata County community to help us bring more robust social-emotional services to our local youth.
